Objectives
CropSphere is hosted by Saskatchewan Pulse Growers (SPG), the Saskatchewan Canola Development Commission (SaskCanola), the Saskatchewan Flax Development Commission (SaskFlax), the Saskatchewan Wheat Development Commission (SaskWheat), the Saskatchewan Barley Development Commission (SaskBarley), and the Saskatchewan Oat Development Commission (SaskOats) to bring growers a first-class event
Provide a forum for sharing best practices among federal, provincial and local agriculture awareness program leaders
Develop and strengthen links with industry representatives to facilitate a more coordinated approach
Strategies
These six organizations came together in 2014 to provide one conference during Crop Week instead of separate meetings in order to increase convenience for attendees and offer a higher-quality event
CropSphere features sessions on grain marketing, research and agronomy plus general topics related to agriculture
Various breakout sessions ensure attendees can pick and choose a program that best supports their business operations
Networking opportunities throughout the day make it possible for attendees to connect
Offer continuing education units
Complementary one-day admission to Western Canadian Crop Production Show
Shuttle service between TCU Place & Praireland Park & participating hotels
These organizations hold their Annual General Meetings in conjunction with the conference to assist with participation
