I had the pleasure of working with Karen and Turner Event Management on SEIMA‘s first three SustainTech conference (2015 to 2017). Her conference organizing contacts and skills, including sponsorship raising, were instrumental in allowing our volunteer-based organization to pull together and pull off a premier event for environmental professionals in Saskatchewan. The success of SustainTech has allowed our non-profit organization to operate in the black, and opened up the possibility to offer new programing and services to members.

I had the pleasure of working with Karen of Turner Event Management recently. She took on the job of helping coordinate and organize my daughter's fundraising evening at the Remai Arts Centre in mid February. I have known Karen for years, but working with her in this capacity opened my eyes to her amazing organizational skills and extensive contacts. What was most impressive was the way she kept my daughter and I on track, gently nudging us to write the letters, contact people, and follow up on things we had promised to do. And all the while she was doing a multitude of things behind the scenes to make sure everything fell into place the way it should.
